For teachers – Understanding the picky eater
The focus of the workshop will be to help teachers identify picky and problem feeders in their classroom. The oral-motor aspects and sensory systems involved in feeding will be discussed and practically explained. We will look at the 32-steps to feeding we use in feeding therapy and help the teacher to incorporate it in the classroom. The dietitian will give advice on healthy meals and snacks to optimize learning and brain development.
